Product release and update notes for 7/24/2024

Here are some exciting highlights from the product release on 7/24. We focused a lot this week on improving performance and making enhancements to the user experience of the core consumer application as well as enhancements and a few bug fixes in the partner and affiliate portals. Check it out!

Map Enhancements & Performance Improvements

The improvements include:

  • Faster load speeds

  • Map and list sync

  • Improvements in the recommendation algorithm

  • Proximity aid

  • Improved icons

  • Clickable address opens default maps app

    Additional App Enhancements include

  • Quick link to sign in to affiliate portal, sync bank account and get paid for your referrals. Here's how it works.

    • Click to affiliate portal

    • Agree to the terms of service

    • Sync your bank account with Stripe

    • Once your account is synced, you will get an automatic deposit once per month with the money earned from referring other members to PassPass. For example, if you refer 20 people that signup for PassPass, you'll make $35 a month from PassPass minus your membership fee of $5. So that means, we'd basically pay you $30 a month to save money. That's $420 a year, just for telling your friends. And as long as they are members, you'll get paid year after year, forever or until they cancel. But why would they? (yes that's me in a 90s hair filter. yes I had a jawline back then)

      sAffiliate Portal enhancements include

  • Affiliate portal QR codes: for referring businesses and affiliates to PassPass. You can use these QR codes to sign up other affiliates as well as businesses into the premier partner program.

  • Intercom help desk and AI assistant (Penny) integration: with Intercom, we have adopted a best in class AI support and communications application to assist Partners, Affiliates, Employees, and eventually members, with their questions and help solve tier 1 support needs quickly and accurately. Included is "Penny" our AI assistant. Penny can accurately answer questions and scans our knowledge base to give timely help when needed. For more difficult issues, tickets can be supported through our Support system as well.

You could ask Penny questions such as, how does an affiliate earn income from PassPass? Or, how do I redeem a deal? Or what is the difference between a daily deal and an Instaperk? Penny will be able to assist, and if she doesn't know the answer now, she will soon!
